How does an innovaHouse differ from a conventional house?
They are energy-saving, low maintenace and built to the latest
German engineering and technolgoical solutions. Materials
used are non toxic and recyclable. The use of chipboard
or MDF board is not used in our buildings. We use a
timber frame structural panel system which has been assembled
in a factory environment. Our buildings are erected
and completed by professional German workforce. |
 |
Are innovaHouse buildings maintenance free?
Our houses are virtually maintenance free. There is no technical
requirement to paint the exterior walls. Our timber windows
are treated so that they will not require repainting for up
to 10 or12 years. The zinc gutters and downpipes never
have to be painted. |
 |
How long does an innovaHouse take to build from order
to delivery?
With our construction system we are able to build a house
for you, from placement of order once Building Warrant approval
has been obtained, to when you move in, within 4 months!
However, once the building is delivered on site, it takes
only 4-7 days to make the construction wind and water tight. |
 |
Are the house designs flexible?
Our OSM timber frame panel system is flexible and can be used
for many different designs. We can build up to 4 storeys
high, from a single dwelling to townhouses and apartments. |

What about
appliances, floor finishings, internal doors, tiles and
sanitaryware?
We have many options from which to choose. All of them have
the same technical and quality level as that of our houses.
Most of our internal goods are delivered from Germany at
no extra cost from AEG appliances to Villeroy & Boch
or Duravit sanitary ware. Granite floor tiles to manmade
quartz, porcelain tiles or timber - the choice is yours.
What are
the advantages of an OSM (off-site manufactured) system?
Sustainability
Aspects
- Low site wastage as schemes are constructed mainly
off-site, therefore no excess building materials are delivered
to site.
- Highly energy-efficient and lower u-values are easily
achievable.
- Less transport to site as complete panels come from
one source which reduces the project's impact on the environment.
- Defects are vastly reduced due to factory controlled
manufacture and precision engineering.
